Legal Aid Ministries
Legal Aid Ministries is unique among legal service providers: Only Legal Aid Ministries combines legal services, educational services, conflict resolution services, and financial education services as part of a comprehensive community justice center.
Their mission is to provide "Legal Aid Ministry" through a comprehensive program of educational outreach, legal assistance, and conflict resolution services to empower the powerless, give hope to the hopeless and show mercy and compassion to those in need. While faith motivates their desire to serve, they are nonsectarian and in no way limit our services to any race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion or any other basis other than emphasizing services for the poor.
Most of their major programs – legal and conciliation – are free, except for very small and affordable administrative fees. This ensures that those who need their services can obtain them regardless of their ability to pay.
