Roxbury Comprehensive Community Health Center

Roxbury Comprehensive Community Health Center (RoxComp) was founded more than 30 years ago by local citizens in response to a severe lack of medical care in the Roxbury and North Dorchester communities. From its storefront beginnings, RoxComp has evolved to become the leading provider of primary healthcare and outpatient mental and social health services in Roxbury and North Dorchester. The Center's mission is to provide culturally, ethnically and linguistically competent primary healthcare and social services to people of all ages, regardless of their ability to pay. RoxComp also serves as an advocate for medically underserved persons and works in collaboration with numerous other private and public organizations to fulfill its goal of strengthening the health status of the individual, family and community.
